Board Games

One way to enjoy a group's company is to play board games. These are games in which (typically) a playing field(board) is put down and each player uses a token of some sort to represent themselves in the game, taking turns they each move around the board and collect cards, game pieces and/or perform duties required of them in the board games.


These enjoyable, social and time passing games' origins have been traced back to ancient Egypt, China and other countries. Throughout history people have played board games for fun and social gatherings. It seems even our ancient ancestors have competed with each other using these time tested activities.


There are literally hundreds of different board games and variations of board games available today. From Snakes and Ladders to Monopoly, from The Game of Life to Clue. It is possible to fulfil everyone's tastes with a single game because of the sheer quantity to choose from.
