The biggest and best zombie fans know for a fact that George A. Romero is one of the best zombie movie directors of all time. He has created and influenced many films / stories about the living dead. There are many other great directors of zombie films but George A. Romero is one of the most well known.


The works of George A. Romero include the original Night of the Living Dead, which arguably created the modern day zombie. Other works include Dawn of the Dead, about a group of survivors who take shelter in a mall, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, as well as his current project (at the time this article was written) Diary of the Dead.
