Ghoul

The term Ghoul is often a reference to the Zombie, but this is not always the case. The other type of ghoul is in reference to a demon or possessed human by a demon. These creatures often have mystical powers and evil magic. Some can even possess the body of a dead human being.


The ghoul is sometimes mistaken as a regular Zombie because they have the desire to eat fresh human flesh. The difference is that the demon has reasoning power and intelligence, and does not wander around aimlessly. They can use their magic to harm, deceive and empower for their own evil desires.


This creature has been referenced at one time or another in almost all of the different cultures histories. Today ghouls are seen in many horror films and video games, as well as novels, stories and fairy tales. It is indicated that a ghoul can be destroyed by inflicting heavy damage to the body, so that it cannot function anymore... but the demon inside can still escape.
