Ping Pong Balls

If you plan to own a ping pong table, then you're going to need ping pong balls. These tiny white balls are easily lost when playing and not having any when you really want to play can be quite the nuisance. Ping pong balls are widely available, and almost any game store, or large store with a game section should have them for sale.


As of 2003, official ping pong balls are to weigh 2.7 grams and have a diameter of 40mm. Previous to this the official diameter was 38mm. There are other sizes and types, but the most used is the 40 mm ball.


The most common color of ping pong balls is white, but it is also common to come in orange. For unofficial use, colors can vary. You might be able to find every color in the rainbow. If you're looking for some different style balls, your best bet is to check around online.
