Zombie Movies

In the late 1970s and during the 1980s there was an explosion of popularity of zombie movies throughout the film industry. Two of the most popular of these movies were 'Dawn of the Dead' and 'Day of the Dead' by George A. Romero. There were many other zombie movies however, such as 'Zombie Flesh Eaters' and 'Re-Animator'.


The zombie movies kick lessened quite a bit during the 1990s. Not to say there were none, but there were nowhere near as much as during the late 70s and 80s. During this time there were many other horror movies, but the walking dead seemed to be forgotten for the time being.


In the late 1990s and during the 2000s, however, zombie movies have made a very big comeback. Films like 'Resident Evil', 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Land of the Dead' are just a few undead films that have re established the world's love with zombies.
