One of the most popular video games in recent history has been the Resident Evil series. The series has had games on all of the newest video game consoles. The first game was released on the playstation one, and was simply titled: Resident Evil. The saga has enjoyed tremendous success, releasing over ten other games across various systems and platforms. The series is mostly, but not exclusively, based on the survival of a Zombie outbreak.
The series was so popular, that it spawned a trilogy of films, which are available on DVD today. A forth Resident Evil movie is in the making, and is to be released as a CGI (or Computer Animated) flick, as opposed to the previous three, which were live action. The first three starred Milla Jovovich.
